Individual Therapy that Goes Beyond Surface-Level Coping

Individual therapy with me often resonates with people who want more than surface-level coping or advice. You might be looking for a space where you can be honest, make sense of things, and stop feeling like you have to hold everything together alone.

Let’s talk about therapy

Not everyone reaches out because of one big thing, but because something just feels off or stuck.

Life might look fine on the outside while internally things feel overwhelming, confusing, or hard to settle within yourself. Often it’s not one defining event but a buildup - patterns repeating, relationships feeling complicated, anxiety quietly humming in the background, or the sense that you’ve been carrying too much alone for too long.

You’re safe here
with us!

Do any of these have you nodding your head?

  • You feel stuck in patterns you already understand but can’t seem to shift

  • You’re living in survival mode: anxious, numb, or always “on”

  • You struggle to feel safe or fully yourself in relationships

  • You’re over-functioning while slowly burning out

  • You doubt your emotions, intuition, or direction

  • You’re moving through grief, identity shifts, or loss

  • You feel disconnected from yourself, even if life looks “fine” on the outside

Over time, therapy can become a space where you:

A Collaborative Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, collaborative, and paced with your nervous system in mind. We’re here to understand what shaped you, including patterns that once helped you cope but might not feel supportive anymore.

My work centers on your lived experience: your relationships, story, emotions, and the ways your system learned to protect you along the way. Together, we pay attention to your nervous system, attachment patterns, and the beliefs influencing how you move through the world. I hold your experiences through a holistic lens that sees you as more than symptoms.

Over Time, Individual Therapy Can Help You:

Reconnect with yourself

Notice your emotions, body signals, and inner voice without immediately questioning them.

Clarify what
you need

Practice naming needs and boundaries with more confidence and less guilt or second-guessing.

Get out of survival mode

Recognize patterns as they happen and begin responding from choice rather than reflex.

And so much more.

How does this all work?

I Use Several Modalities in my Therapy Work.

My work pulls from different approaches, which means therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all or stuck in a rigid plan. We follow what’s showing up in your life, your nervous system, and your goals - adjusting the work so it actually fits you.

  • A somatic, brain-based approach that helps process anxiety and trauma held in the body and nervous system, supporting regulation and deeper integration.

  • An evidence-based trauma therapy used to reprocess distressing experiences and reduce the emotional intensity they continue to carry.

  • We explore patterns of connection, trust, and safety in your relationships and within the therapy space, with attention to how these patterns developed and how they can shift.

  • We work with emotions as meaningful signals, helping you understand, tolerate, and respond to them with greater clarity and self-compassion.

  • We make space for grief, loss, identity shifts, values, spirituality, and questions of meaning, especially after trauma, change, or transition.

Therapy is a space that is human and real, and for those who feel drawn to deeper, reflective work.

These folks often feel especially at home here:

  • Other therapists, healers, and helpers navigating their own growth & healing

  • Creatives & performers wanting to feel more grounded and less self-critical

  • LGBTQ+ individuals seeking safe, affirming care

  • People healing from high-control, coercive, or narcissistic relational dynamics

  • Those untangling faith shifts, spiritual questions, or religious harm

  • Individuals drawn to meaning, intuition, and deeper self-understanding

Ready to start? Here’s how it all works:

  • 1

    Reach Out

Start by filling out the Therapy Inquiry Form to schedule a free 15-minute consultation call. This is simply a space to share what’s bringing you in, ask questions, and get a feel for working together.

  • 2

    Begin Therapy

If we move forward, we’ll schedule the first session. Early sessions are about getting to know each other, understanding your world, and letting the work unfold naturally.

  • 3

    Collaborate on Goals

We’ll identify goals together in a way that feels flexible and realistic. Some weeks may focus more on talk therapy, others on body-based or somatic work, and others on what’s happening in the now.

  • 4

    Ongoing Maintenance

Therapy doesn’t have to be forever and it also doesn’t have to end on a strict timeline. Over time, we’ll regularly check in and adjust the frequency of sessions accordingly.
