Peer Therapy in Nashville, Tennessee

The behind-the-scenes conversations therapists deserve to have more often.

Support for therapists navigating identity, burnout, career direction, private practice, and how they actually want to show up in this work (without feeling like they have to become a therapy robot in the process).

Let’s talk about peer consultation for therapists

Consultation is a collaborative space to talk through the parts of this field that often stay unspoken:

The uncertainty, identity shifts, practical realities, burnout, boundaries, and the “what am I even doing?” moments that can quietly happen throughout a therapist’s career.

Honest conversations. Practical support. Space to figure out what actually fits for you.

What I Wish Someone Had Told Me Earlier

I created this space because I know how easy it is to lose yourself in therapist culture, unhealthy systems, or expectations that don’t align with who you are.

Like many therapists, I entered the field with foundational knowledge from school but very little understanding of how the therapy world actually functioned in real life.

A lot of what I learned came through trial and error, navigating different systems, building a private practice, asking awkward questions, and slowly figuring out what felt sustainable and authentic for me instead of trying to fit myself into someone else’s version of what a therapist “should” be.

Over time, I realized there isn’t one perfect formula for being a therapist.

You are allowed to build a career that feels relational, intentional, sustainable, and human - and most importantly, like you.

I genuinely enjoy helping other healers and helping professionals find their therapy voice, build confidence, and sort through the quieter realities of this work without shame, pressure, or gatekeeping (and yes, nerdy spreadsheet conversations are absolutely welcome here too).

Please note: Consultation is not a replacement for required clinical supervision for those pursuing licensure. Clinical supervision services coming soon.

You might already be working with clients while still quietly wondering if you’re doing this “right”

You’re trying to figure out what kind of therapist you want to be, how you want to work, and what actually feels sustainable long-term.

For Therapists Finding Their Way

This consultation space can support conversations around:

  • therapist identity, confidence, and finding your voice

  • burnout, boundaries, and building a sustainable relationship with the work

  • private practice, career direction, and workplace dynamics

  • building a caseload, networking, or marketing yourself without feeling performative

  • relational or client-related topics connected to my specialty areas without the pressure of formal supervision or case consultation

For Students, New Graduates, & Associate Therapists.

If you’re entering the field, it can feel like you’re expected to know what you’re doing without being given honest or practical answers about how this work actually functions in the real world.

This space offers room to ask questions openly, sort through options, and gain clearer direction without pressure to already have everything mapped out.

Common questions we might sort through in consultation together:

  • What kind of job or work environment would actually be healthy for me?

  • What should supervision realistically feel like?

  • How do therapists actually make money?

  • What questions should I ask during interviews?

  • When does private practice realistically make sense?

  • How do I know if this field is actually a good fit for me long-term?

  • Which trainings, modalities, or certifications genuinely fit the kind of therapist I want to become?

I bring honesty, practical guidance, and real-world perspective into these conversations -not vague therapist career folklore (because this field is confusing enough already).
